They hung 85 points on them in two games this year....that's gotta be close to if not a club record against a divisional opponent.

Careful, the Cards were in that division for a while. I don't even know if this one is the record:

November 8, 1981 52-10 over the Cards
December 20, 1981 38-0 over the Cards

Looks like that is the record. Weird fact that I found while looking it up. The Eagles have scored 38+ points against the taterskins 11 times, but only once since the creation of the modern NFC East in the late 60s. The Eagles really beat the piss out of the Skins a lot during the Steve van Buren era, but they've generally been low-scoring affairs ever since.

The one modern game in which the Eagles scored 38+ on the Skins? A classic 5-TD comeback game from Randall.

So 90 is the record....85 has to be the most  they ever put up against the Giants in two games. Did they even put up 85 in 3 games last year?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I bet Jaws threw a few deep seam routes in those games against deep safties in cold weather so no tackles could be made.

lol at you thinking 2-deep half coverage doesn't open up the deep seam routes.

Tomahawk

Man, Jackson is fun to watch. How much longer do I have to wait before I start calling him the best WR in football?

this would be second biggest # of points for the eagles against a team in the post-1967 nfc east... last year against the cowboys was third.

in fact tonight's game was kind reminiscent of that game the eagles lost to dallas last year

Munson

Until he does it for a couple more years or until Larry Fitzgerald retires.

But after Fitz and A. Johnson, you gotta put Pimp at #3 at the least. Maybe over Johnson. He's #1 in terms of big play ability though no doubt.

Reid says Maclin tore his plantar fascia but will only miss 1-2 weeks?  that doesn't sound right...

He should not have even been out there tonight.

Phreak, he's had the same injury for 4 or 5 weeks now, its just ripped or hurt liek shtein tonight.  shtein happens, at least they have Cheggie to backfill him, lol

Yeah, I know...but after having it flare up last week, with the conditions and on turf tonight...gotta sit, IMO

Munson

If he's out next week maybe we see the return of white lightning. :crazy

We used to have picture-in-picture on the SD games so we could watch Tim Dwight.

He's a hero to us all.

so that bet is working out nicely, ay homer jay

cake me off, Todd!

again, ill double or nothing you that they dont make it to the bowl. then well double or nothing that they dont win. then you have 200 bones.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

pretty much

though our phils/yanks bet was an impulse farg you to you that i cake off of if lidge gets 1 more strike on damon.

this bet i saw a sure thing, then jay cutler implodes and the eagles get to face atl w/out matt ryan and mike turner. so....bad luck there. or good luck. i guess.
