mccarver is such a Hoyda. didnt once blast the umpiring for being awful. either did buck. they said yea thats the wrong call but never called out this god awful umpiring.

farging mccarver might be the worst announcer in sports. "the dodgers were leading after getting 26 outs, but you need 27 in a baseball game." really? thanks, dingus.

a-roid is just as hot, if not hotter than howard is right now. he's homered in 3 straight games, has 5 hr in 7 playoff games this year and has at least 1 rbi in his last 8 playoff games overall, which ties him with howard and gehrig for the record. like him or hate him, he's certainly excersizing his postseason demons this year.

and now the yanks are eating up the angels bullpen. went from 4-0 angels to 6-4 yankees in about 5 minutes of actual game time. all with 2 outs

The stadium was rocking the other day too when the Yankees won. (see other thread about douvhebag bandwagons fans)

I fell asleep and woke up right as Fuentes was walking Texiera. He is a mess as a closer.

lol at Lackey showing the Utley grit factor when Scioscia came out to yank him. But he was right. How the hell do you yank him when his stuff is still good? For Darren Oliver? I know Oliver has been decent but damn...as good as Scioscia is, he over manages a lot.

-- Not sure if it was mentioned yet but the umpires for the World Series were announced, and CB Bucknor was supposed to be part of the group but MLB said the umpiring has been so bad this postseason that they're going with 6 veterans instead of inviting a n00b like usual. It'll be Joe West, Dana DeMuth, Gerry Davis, Brian Gorman, Mike Everitt and Jeff Nelson....

I have to say that I chuckle a little bit every time they say the umps name and it's Randy Marsh.
