A grounder in the hole between first and second; Izturis goes to his left, fields the ball with his back to 2nd and wheels to throw to 2nd. WTF?!

You throw to first there, clown. You throw it to first and take the only play you have. No way you turn a DP there.

Without the fielding mistakes no one is complaining about him at the plate. It's the combination that makes him stick out as sucking so far this series.

Another illustration of how horrible umpiring has been:

Yankees have Posada on 3rd and Cano on 2nd. Batter hits the ball to the pitcher and he throws home because Posada inexplicably took off (he had a lot of brain farts tonight) for home. Napoli runs Posada back to 3rd and Cano is standing there about a step off the bag on the SS side.

Posada overruns the bag and Napoli tags Cano who is clearly a foot off the base and tags Posada. Should be a double play, right?

Tim McClelland calls Cano safe and Posada out. How do you miss that?

Oh, and he called Swisher out for leaving early from 3rd on a tag and he wasn't even watching him.

Looks like its gonna be a Yankees-Phillies WS.
