Ha - for real. The Tigers didn't really even choke. The Twins won like 17 out of the last 20 just to tie them.

Yeah, plus no team has ever blown a 3 game lead with 4 to play, so they made history there too. Not to mention they had so many chances in the tiebreaker game to take a lead and couldn't get a run across the plate.

And it doesn't help when your best player is probably nursing an extreme hangover in a game where if you win you can still win outright and not have to worry about a one-game playoff.

Loney hit a line drive to LF...Holliday came in and tried a basket type catch and dropped it and it rolled far enough away that he got to 2nd.

Pierre PR for him.

Blake just battled his ass off and singled in Pierre to tie it at 2.
