He's talked to the general in charge a whooping total of ONCE.  He's more concerned about fighting for Chicago to get the Olympics.  Nice try though.

I don't care if he blacks out Afghanistan on a map for his entire first year of presidency...year 1 needed to be about the economy, health care, and fixing our image around the world. Not a war that could have been over by now if previous administrations didn't find it necessary to distract America from the failure of finding Bin Laden by starting another war on false pretenses and shotty intelligence, with no escape plan.

the move to pull troops out of iraq and increase military forces in afghanistan kind of tells me that he's not ignoring it.  he's just not on the tv every night telling the american people how evil they are over there and how they will destroy our country unless he's allowed to put closed circuit cameras in our houses.
