Speaking of Israel I can't believe they're going to allow Iran to go much further with their WMD programs.  Every day I wake up, turn on the news, and NOT see grainy footage of Tehran & Tel Aviv smoldering in ruins, I'm surprised and more than a little relieved.

If they start lobbing nukes at each other nothing on Earth is going to stop a holocaust.    We have treaties with Israel that basically outline who gets wiped off the map if it happens.  Those countries have treaties with Russia, China, etc... and once they get involved, it's all over.

they hold absolutely no weight and never have.  the super powers decide what treaties will be upheld and what ones will not so really it just depends on whether or not we have a lunatic conservative in office at the time who is more worried about being seen as a coward than his country actually existing the next day.
