Jason Statham as Chet Chelios would win in the end of that action movie, anyway.

Also, farg you for wanting to see Drew farging Barrymore. You put her on your list and leave Natalie Portman off?

The man. The myth. The legend.

was listening to mason and ireland on la espn radio on the way home from work today and they were interviewing mark schlereth and he had to cut the interview short because he's on-set filming a remake of red dawn.

Dude. Red Dawn was the shtein and can never be duplicated. Mark farging Schlereth. farg.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

A Red Dawn re-make no matter how bad it is will do even better under Obama than it would have done under Bush.  Which is to say, it will farging print money.

most remakes in general can never duplicate the original.  the only time i'm game for a remake is if the original sucked ass or is completely out-dated.

schlereth has a minor role in the movie from what i understand.

My niece was watching Happy Feet the other day... Robin Williams is even more annoying as an animated penguin than he is on Leno/Letterman talkshows when he's doing his over the top comedy bull shtein.

Mussa and I just watched Red Dawn not too long ago.  Perhaps the greatest movie ever.  Wolverines!

I finally saw It Might Get Loud yesterday for a matinee screening...my wife and I were the only people in the theatre.  Sexy time.

I am a Jack White fan, I think he's one of only a handful of people in my generation whose work will enter the canon of great rock and roll.  And of course Jimmy Page is a guitar god.  The Edge, I've never been so impressed with.

If you're not into the people who make the music at all, this movie ain't for you.  It's not a biopic of the men themselves, focusing more intently on their relationship to the actual instruments and techniques of the art than the personalities around it, but the tone is reverential nonetheless.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.  I came away appreciating the Edge more than I did before, but only affirming that the other two are great.  There were some clever gimmicks employed--animation, Jack White on screen with an actor playing himself at ten years old or so (with a cool ending), etc.

If you're a rock music fan and like any of the three artists featured, I'd say 7/10
If you're not, don't bother.
