QuoteCause CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, ABC are known for their conservative tilt??

Aside from MSNBC nowadays, yes. They all have a corporate tilt. This is not surprising as they're all owned by large corporations.

Are you kidding me??    Didn't Rather get into a little bit of trouble for making things up in his case against Bush?
Did any of these networks cover Van Jones and his extremist views?  The media helped Barry ascend to his presidency, but than the left has the audacity to bitch about Fox News, when it's the only network with a conservative bias, and doesn't make any qualms about it.

listen to whatever limbaugh tells you....

abc, cbs, nbc all answer to $ first and foremost. msnbc is the fox news of the left, we all know that.

the thing about journalism is its an inherently liberal profession. the general act of the job calls you to question everything and never follow whatever the authorities are spitting out. that goes against the very nature of conservative philosophy, which just works best when everyone listens to what rush says and calls it a day.

most people who work in news are liberals for a reason. most people who work at power plants and join the military are conservatives for a reason. it aint bad, it aint good, it just is. you racist.

All you clowns who bring race into every conversation ask for this shtein.

Anybody that bothers to post in these threads asks for this shtein. Nothing good has ever come out of political or religious discussions, and less than nothing when you're dealing with people that are loyal to specific institutions.

Quotemsnbc is the fox news of the left, we all know that.

While it's true MSNBC has been moving steadily leftward and could now be looked at as a counter to Fox, I think there's a big gap betwen their journalistic credibility. On second though, it's more like a gaping hole.

MDS

its not as bad as fox is but its pretty bad.

theyre more obama worshiping than democrat. fox is just a mouthpiece for the repub whether that be bush or mccain or whatever. the only who deters is o'reilly, he does whatever the farg he wants and its mostly right wing lunacy mixed with stroking his ego.

I couldn't resist a little trolling, I admit.  The response I got was worth the price of admission.  Carter.  This guy cracks me up.

Aren't the one going to Temple??? Can't really question the intellect of the conservative base, when you go to one of the biggest jokes of a college in the area.

Calm down, he goes to Towson.

Additionally, I love when the intellect of the conservative base is questioned, when Dems rely on the "Obama's going to get me free gas" vote.

Why do I bother?

She brought up the lesson plan too, which is the focal point of what conservatves were saying.  She also said that it's the parent's right to have their kids not listen too the speech.  Pretty sure she echoed what I said early.

rjs246

The lesson plan is the fallback reason that conservative politicians are giving now that the original volley of bullshtein has been responded to. Read the quotes from the constituency and you'll never see the lesson plan even mentioned.

When I read the original objections as soon as the speech was announced, they also mentioned the lesson plan. In fact, the sites I read it on, had linked the actual lesson plan.

None of the quotes from johnny on the street ever mentioned it once. The politicians got the people all riled up to generate some more affected fear and anger and then toned down their rhetoric by emphasizing the lesson plan. It's an old ass political trick but it's still laughable how transparent it is.

Edit: In the interest of full disclosure, I'll admit that I only read 2 or 3 articles on the subject before I was angry enough by the ignorant quotes of the random interviewees that I felt I had read enough. Feel free to prove my point wrong about the lesson plan being the issue from the beginning.
