The "dr" in Kansas put himself in the cross hairs.  Just think of the unlimited good he could have done for other people with a medical degree and he just HAD to make a living crushing baby skulls.

the war in iraq is still going to end.  the "immediate" troop withdrawals that obama wanted are being scaled back, which is the smarter choice imo.  but they are still happening.  all signs have my sqaudron going to iraq next year and more than likely our primary mission while over there will be to assist with the withdrawal efforts.  i don't know if we'll be part of the final troop withdrawal or not, but if we aren't, then the last of our troops coming home should follow shortly behind.  i wouldn't expect to see much more than skeleton crews in iraq beyond 2011. 

don't expect a complete exit by american forces though.  even when the bulk of the troops come back, we will still have small mitt and pitt teams over there to assist iraqi military and police in training efforts.  and civil affairs groups will probably remain as well in some capacity to continue assisting with developing infrastructure at more localized city/town levels.

Tiller performed late term abortions for women who's doctors had told them that they risked death in childbirth and was one of only a handful in the country who did it. That's a life-saving service. What's the sense in losing mother and child in childbirth? Or in choosing the life of an infant over that of a grown person who has a life and ties to the world?

I know not everyone agrees with this but in my opinion mother > unborn infant, and it isn't even close.

I am deeply honored and proud that you call me a right wing nut job   Millions of Obama voters wanted the same things I listed in my post...what do you have against inner city kids anyway?  It sounds like your 401K is invested in the prison system.  wtf?

I didn't blame Tillers assination on himself, only that a "chose" a dangerous career that has millions of highly immotional opponents.  It's kind of like walking through Harlem with an Obama sucks sign on your back or walking thru Iraq with a muslims suck sign...legal but very risky.
