QB Eagles

I *almost* felt bad for them. Their team is completely controlled by a senile man, and that was reflected in their picks. I think Davis tried to take Ken Stabler in Round 2, and when the NFL told him it wasn't 1968, he got embarrassed and just pointed to a random name on the draft chart.

Will the media make a big deal about Stafford being booed year after year after year?

I say that they won't unless Stafford shows that he's affected by it (like McNabb is).

Teams I thought did well:

Giants - every one of their picks made sense. Their top 5 picks (Nicks, Sintim, Beatty, Barden, Beckum and Brown) if they pan out will make them deeper than they already are. Them getting Andre Brown to go along with Jacobs and Bradshaw is scary.

Bengals - Because of their first three picks. Smith, Maualuga and Johnson could all be great picks if they shake the questions surrounding them. If Smith's work ethic is good, if Maualuga can be a 3-down MLB and if Johnson can use his size and athleticism then they made out.

Browns - Drafted the best center, two solid WR prospects, a 3-4 edge rusher and Maiava to plug inside after losing Davis to Denver.

Lions - Not sure how Stafford will turn out, but getting Pettigrewalso in the first and Derrick Williams, Sammie Lee Hill and Lydon Murtha later on could all be good picks.

Also I liked what Houston, Miami, New England and Tennessee did.

Dallas and Oakland were horrible.

Kansas City better hope that Tyson Jackson is Richard Seymour reincarnated because if he flops, then they'll look incredibly stupid.

The center that Cincy got (Luigs) was the nation's best center in '07.  I liked that pick too...

The Jets are making some silly trades, but they got maybe a franchise QB and maybe a franchise RB in Sanchez and Greene.  Have to like the effort.

Agreed about the Jints, hard not to like what they did.  Since Reese has taken over as GM they consistenly draft very well.

ESPN draft grades, as voted on by the fans. The way these are weighted, basically any team below a B- has very depressed fans today.

Bears: C+

How do the Bears get rated so low? Getting Cutler was their draft and apparently that defensive guy they took with their first pick was a smart move.

The Jets signed J'Nathan Bullock, the Cleveland State basketball player, as a UDFA.

Remember Willie Williams, the hyped up LB that ran into trouble at Miami? He signed with the Packers.

Vikings signed Boise State RB Ian Johnson.

Lions signed Anquan's brother DJ Boldin.

Jim Rome was talking about comments Ebon Britton made after the draft like "Every team that passed on me will regret it for the rest of the history of their franchise" and "Let them [draft "experts"] line up against me; they'll be dead"

That's paraphrased, but dook's farging hilarious.

Raiders: F

maybe raiders fans will do the world a favor and off themselves then.

Crabs response to being passed over:

Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

I'd be happy, too, if I was going to be a millionaire and I didn't have to go to Oakland.

Yeah, before the draft he was doing an NFL.com chat and someone asked him about being drafted by the Raiders and he said "no comment". I loved the sigh of relief from him.

Now watch DHB be a bust and Crabtree be a stud right across the bay from Al and the Raiders

The other way around would be humorous too. Raiders doing something completely retarded and it works out.

The packers changed their minds and un-invited him.
