Pats fans don't think they got enough

He's in the last year of his rookie deal and wants a new deal. He's a Hanson/Hood type guy, doesn't make the big play but is a solid corner. The more I think about this the more I like it. He's insurance in case Sheldon goes koo koo. They now have 4 reliable guys and Ikewannaguaiaha as a prospect.

He also led the AFC in kick return average last season.

difference is Hobbs is 5 years younger than Sheldon.  They may be willing to redo his contract.

Even if they do the age factor swings it in their favor in this case.  Now when they let Trotter walk at what 25-26 that could be construed as hypocracy.

They're giving him a new deal while at the same time giving Sheldon the finger and it's the definition of hypocrisy.

He's 5 years younger and hasn't personally offended Joe Banner's staff yet, if you know what I mean.
