The Eagles have sent two of their many fifth-round draft picks to the Pats for veteran cornerback Ellis Hobbs.

The news comes from the Pats official Twitter feed.

I never dreamed that I'd ever type that sentence in my life.

The picks sent to the Pats are No. 137 and No. 141 overall.

Thoughts?
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Too late to trade Sheldon now, unless they get future picks or swap him for a player like Peppers or something.

Not sure I see either of those happening.

The Patriots gave both of the Eagles picks to the Ravens (for #123?).

Pick #137 belonged to the Lions, who sent it to the Seahawks, who sent it to the Eagles, who sent it to the Patriots, who sent it to the Ravens.
