i just watched a very brady sequel. great movie. seriously.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

We're going to an old-time theater tonight that plays indie flicks and things like that. They have midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show and play old classics some weekends too. We're gonna check out Sin Nombre.

This place looks cool and they serve booze.

Rome

Saw The Day The Earth Stood Still remake.

Meh.

2/5.

If they had shown more of these...

it would have been much better.

Sin Nombre: 7/10

Pretty good flick. All subtitles, but it was easy to follow. It shows the gang life of the crazy ass MS-13's and the journey of people trying to immigrate to the US. The paths of the two cross and it doesn't have much dancing around the plot...pretty straight forward, which I liked.

The quaint movie house was cool too. I was able to drink a few beers while watching the movie and the crowd was all older and I thought we;d make it through without some stupid farger's cellphone going off. Nope. Some woman's phone rang and she actually answers it and has like a 2 minute conversation. Totally oblivious to everyone else in the theater. I'd like to be able to baseball bat these people in the skulls.

It's a free country, Phreak.  Go ahead and whack a mole.  I'll send you cigarettes when they ship you off to prison.

In Bruges - pretty good movie...dark comedy is the perfect description here and it has the perfect application of a midget.  Colin Farrell was really good and I finally realized it was because he was supposed to be playing a douchebag, so he basically just was himself.  The script was written by an Irish playwright who had a healthy disdain for Americans and that is clearly displayed in the movie.

Blow - not sure how I missed this until now, but I really liked it.  Depp was good and the story was compelling throughout.

Copenhagen too. I'll sell the squares and make some cash money.

I don't have any hookups any longer, Feva. I'd be stuck in gen. pop....but it may be worth it to go all Michael Douglas Falling Down on some people.

Wanted. Pretty stupid, but a perfect way to divert your brain from rational thought for two hours.

Let the Right One In - Swedish vampire flick. Not your typical vampire flick, and I think thats what made it so good. I wanted more, but sometimes its better that way.

Slumdog was good.  Solid 4/5.  It should be seen.

We Own the Night. Enjoyable but forgettable. A by the numbers crime drama that opens with Eva Mendez rubbing herself on a couch. The scene is quickly ruined by Joaquin's hairlip but holy shtein she is a goddess.
