I'm probably going to go see the Russell Crowe joint this weekend.  Good enough reviews for me to give it a shot.

he won't let me yet, I'm not cool enough.

in fact, he PM'd me about that and deducted 10 vigy credits from my account.  now I'm back down to needing 75 more credits to gain "my boy" status

I should get there sometime in December if I don't keep farging up

I saw the commercial for that the other night and I told my sister, "Oh shtein, look what's coming out...the new 007". She gives me a weird look. Then the commercial goes, "On DVD next week".

...I think I have been asleep the last 6 months. Never even knew it hit the theaters.

I DVR'd them...and stayed up watching the carnage.

State of Play: 7/10

Exciting, a couple of plot twists and I liked Crowe in this movie. I enjoy most of his stuff though. Affleck wasn't terrible, which was amazing.

Jeff Daniels is in it and it took me about 5 minutes to realize it was him. Got fat and bald.

Jason Bateman's character was good too.

jason bateman slowly, but surely has been getting himself back into the scene over the last few years.  the sweetest thing, starsky and hutch, dodgeball......which i thought he was hilarious in as the color commentator.  i'm sure he's also been in other movies i just haven't seen yet.

Yes Man was forgettable, but I would like to impale Zooey Deschanel on my meatsicle.

Seabiscuit36

Soldiers and Saints was decent, basically about some American soldiers who survive a massacre of POW's by Nazis, and their trying to make it back to offer key information.  They did a great job not exaggerating the simple stuff like grenades going off, or weapon accuracy.  I'd love to get my hands an a German STG-44

Don't forget Juno.  He was a little creepy hitting on the pregnant teenager, but very passable.

It's only creepy in some states.
