Obviously the schedule makers didnt know this before they drew shtein up last year, but Game 3 of the WS was the night of the Eagles-Falcons home game which started at 1 this past season. I was at both games (yes, as a Mets fan) and parking/logistics were all fine. I dont think Phils-Mets has any bearing at all on where the Eagles open up.

It's good to have all of this information in one place.

they almost always play the skins in december...and have only played them before november once in the last like 15 years and that was the spurrier monday nighter

They also opened the season in Washington in '96 and had a late October one in '94, but otherwise yeah they've been November or December ever since Rhodes.  In the Campbell/Ryan/Kotite years it was the opposite.  From '84 through '89, every Washington game was in September (including back-to-back season openers in '86 and '87), and '90 through '92 were also early...

it definitely has a bearing...the question is how much of one...if they can avoid it they certainly will...and with there being absolutely no reason the eagles HAVE to play at home i dont think they will...altho its obviously not out of the realm of possibility...i just cant think of a reason why you would play them both at home that day

giants eagles across the street from mets phils would be bonkers tho

There's a big difference between 1-8 and 1-4

my point is, wasn't it impossible to have a conflict at the vet?

3-post set of the year.

ice grillin you

well thats true but i wanted to see some other trends...like if they were even by chance in town at the same time...like there was never even a weekend where the eagles played monday night and the phils were at home sunday and tuesday

its weird to it seemed like whenever the eagles were at home the phils played at the mets like 75% of the times

This made me laugh.

I'm interested too, because my three roadie possibilities are Carolina, San Diego, and an outside shot at Chicago.  It all comes down to scheduling, but I hope that one of my roadies isn't the opener.  It seems like a waste that early, plus as IGY mentioned, tickets will probably be harder (i.e. more expensive) to get.

And I'm crashing at FF's house for the Carolina game.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Sure.  I'm only a short 157 mile drive.  Fly in to Raleigh instead of Charlotte, and make a homoerotic weekend of it!

Marathon poker and beer fest at FF's on Saturday. Let's see if we can get him divorced.

So drunken passes at his wife are mandatory?
