I have the box set yet I still watch it whenever it's on.  It's that good, and yes, I'm that much of a dork.

Band of Brothers was on today on History channel, so far and above what other miniseries have ever been produced.

I DVR'd the last 4 episodes today and took the last two discs off my netflix queue. Great series so far.

Watchmen - the best comic based graphic novel movie created. i was very impressed in how much detail they did include...I do however think that the 2nd half of the movie felt rushed since they practically covered everything in the first half. I was ok with the ending, its def. more believable than the real ending in the book. Rorschachs character was spot on. I think they did great with all the characters except Adrian. He def. didn't look like his character. I'm fine with the pirate story not being included, especially when they put the effort into creating a whole animated movie dedicated to it. I didn't expect it to be as violent as it was. They did such a good job, I want to watch it again. I went with a friend who never read the book and he was also impressed and said he didn't think it would be that deep of a message involved, so I think they did well for people who never read the books. Could they have done better explaining things, of course, but really its a 3 hour long movie.

Let The Right One In: 4.5/5

I usually avoid Vampire related movies but this was one was acclaimed so i got it on the cheap...very well made movie about a 12 yr old boy who befriends a Vampire. Its basically what Twilight wishes it was but much better, darker, and realistic in terms of a of a relationship. Its also very twisted once you realize whats going on at the end.
Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

honestly, thats the only positive to it.  It gets women horny like they just read a romantic novel.

Tales of the Black Freighter - comic within the comic of the Watchmen. Short, 26 mins. Added some things, left out some things. Did a decent job, but it doesn't have the same effect when watching it by itself and when not paralleling the story in Watchmen. 2/5

Role Models: Pretty unevenly funny, but funny none the less. Definitely check it out.

Choke: Love the book, was very meh about the movie. Sam Rockwell was a good casting move but Angelica Houston was not. Bijou Philips is in it with a tiny role for no reason but does fall asleep while giving a handjob which is sort of entertaining.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

3:10 to Yuma - wasn't bad until the end when they tried to do too much and be thought provoking.
