saw Notorious last night

I was a little apprehensive about renting this because there have been some other portrayals of Biggies life that just wasnt good at all...but if youre a Biggie fan or fan of hip hop in general theres no reason not to like this movie. I thought it told his life very well and the acting was not too over done. The role of Biggies mom played by Angela Bassett (who is a hell of an actress) made the story feel a little more real, but the only one role I didnt like too much was Puffys character..everyone else seemed to be spot on

The Biggie tracks are hot of course--was mimicked and sounded surprisingly well by his character Jamaal Woolard...and  Lil Kims character is ridiculously hot with a slamming ass body...check it out

'W' - I liked the concept of the movie but Stone got too fancy. He over did a lot of Bush's mannerisms: Bush constantly having to have food, drink, dip, whatever in his mouth. Didn't see the need to over do that point, was he trying to convey to the audience that Bush had an oral fixation? I know the Bush administration was full of caricatures but he goes way over the top, especially Condeleeza Rice's character. Dreyfuss was good as Cheney, and Brolin nailed Bush a couple of times but the rest of the time it was just too much.

I like watching JFK.  It reminds me of when John Candy was still alive and Costner and Stone were still relevant.

yeah the speech at the end of it was interminable...its still a top 10 movie and it posesses the greatest ensemble acting cast in cinema history
