yeah the speech at the end of it was interminable...its still a top 10 movie and it posesses the greatest ensemble acting cast in cinema history

Pulp Fiction says "farg you, stillupfront's mom".

Sgt PSN

does igy have a new favorite movie or is he still pimping la confidential?

i still haven't seen it yet but it's available on netflix instant view but it's buried in my queue beneath national treasure 2 and season 1 of magnum p.i.

IGY's favorite movie is "Angel Heart," dingus.

rjs246

IGY's criteria for film quality:
1. Heavy-handed liberal messages.
2. Post 1970 release.

"Wanted" was actually pretty farging cool.
3.5/5.

Sgt PSN

havent seen "wanted" yet but want to.  i'm just annoyed by the fact that i haven't heard of any injuries or fatalities by legions of idiots who saw the movie and thought they could alter the direction of a bullet by twisting their wrists while firing.

The Haunting in Connecticut: 1/10

Horrible. I couldn't wait for it to end. I didn't expect some great horror movie, but damn it wasn't even half decent. It was a drama. At no point was I spooked. I want my money back.

It's a fairly memorable "favorite movie of all time."  Mine is actually Grosse Pointe Blank, which is likely revered nearly as little and doesn't really have any hot ladies... and none of them are naked, either.

The worst actor in JFK was Costner, and he was still really good in general except for the overdone accent.

Rome

Fast Times At Ridgemont High has more famous actors in it than pretty much any other movie ever made but the best part is none of them were actually famous when it came out.

Sean Penn, Nicolas Cage, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold, Forest Whitaker, Eric Stoltz, & Anthony Edwards are all in it plus Phoebe Cates and Ray Walston (Aloha, Mr. Hand!).  Great cast.

Feva

A Time To Kill - Huge cast and everybody was shiny as hell.

Samuel L. Jackson
Matthew McConaughey
Sandra Bullock
Kevin Spacey
Chris Cooper
Oliver Platt
Keifer Sutherland
Donald Sutherland
Ashley Judd
Charles S. Dutton
Kurtwood Smith (farg "That 70's Show"... he'll always be Clarence to me.)
"Now I'm completing up the other half of that triangle" - Emmitt Smith on joining Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin in the Hall of Fame

"If you have sex with a prostitute against her will, is that considered rape or shoplifting?" -- 2 Live Stews

Rome

Sandra Bullock got raped in that movie.

Good times.

Diomedes

the cast for True Romance was the best ensemble I can think of, each actor nailing his character

Christian Slater
Patricia Arquette
Chris Penn
Tom Sizemore
Dennis Hopper
Gary Oldman
Bronson Pinchot
Samuel Jackson
James Gandolfini
Val Kilmer
Christopher Walken
Brad Pitt
Michael Rapaport
Saul Rubinek
