PoopyfaceMcGee

They passed on Witten to draft L.J.

And if they were not able to trade up to "snag" McDougle, they would have drafted L.J. in the 1st round.

I'm just saying...

yes thats exactly what Im saying...and stop acting like you hated him from day 1

sure he had injuries that cost him these past couple of years but its not like this guy is the scrub of all scrub TE's...and to be still out there this far into FA coming from a solid team is what Im saying

Don't worry...I have doubted some of their moves over the years, but optimism always kicks in as the season gets closer. But each year since 2005's disastrous offseason, with them resting on the SB berth and only signing that Alfred E Newman farg at QB has caused me to doubt more each year. This current off-season has been the breaking point for me.

I wonder about Reid's clout with the team too. Prior to FA starting he said they were going to bring back Dawk and Tra. But they both end up leaving.

I hoped Lurie would have stepped into the Dawk negotiations, and it appears he did, but only when it was too late.

With Heckert basically being sent to the basement with an old projector and some tapes, Reid saying they would sign the guys and nothing happening (I read he did not attend the Jones PC either) I wonder if they have neutered him too.

This is a nightmare scenario if true....Reid is a football guy. He makes dumb choices, but at least he knows the game. To my eye, with Roseman and Banner now the top dogs, it looks like we have to deal with idiots who aren't football guys callin' shots.

:boom X 10 trillion.  I forgot they were both part of the same draft.

yep...i was telling one of my boys last week that it appears as if banner is playing fantasy football with a real live team...luries silence thru all this (especially the dawk fiasco) has been unacceptable

Pretty much.

Banner is Snyder Lite...playing fantasy football, but with someone else's cash.

Time for Lurie to wake up and take some power away from his boy. Not gonna happen, and because of that neither will a Lombardi trophy.

Eagles claimed RB Eldra Buckley off waivers from the Chargers.

I was thinking the same thing. It all adds up. Reid says they will re-sign Dawk and Tra and then the next day Banner comes out and basically says this isn't true. Reports came out that Reid called Dawk and begged him to come back, then Banner comes out and says they wouldn't have matched.

It would certainly appear Banner has more control these days over Reid, which if true would be the worst decision in Eagles history. They've made bad ones, but making an accountant and his assistant personnel guys is laughable and a travesty.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
