Without a doubt, you're right...  just pointing out something reported as fact.

I feel ya...and apparently Dawk contradicted the fact and said they went back to the Birds 3x and were told, in Joey B fashion, that they could go pound sand.

I never even knew 6 time Pro-Bowler C Matt Birk from the Vikings was available for the Ravens to scoop

damn shame...I wish the Eagles hated J.Jackson as much as I do

WHy would you hate Jamaal Jackson?

He's not terrible. Nowhere near hate level.

I dont have to go into the overall run game explanation plus his 3rd and short blow-ups

but every time I watch him he is getting torched off the ball like a little bitch. He made the average opposing defensive lineman look way too good..not to mention when there was pressure on Mcnabb it was usually coming up the gut

theres a reason when the Eagles do decide to run its usually off-tackle. I would like to see an upgrade at that position...but I know it wont be happening unless they pull an Eagles special

He's a pretty big guy, bigger than normal I'd say for a C. He'd get blown up here and there, but nowhere as much as Fraley got smoked.

Hank wasn't fast enough to slide over nor was he able to take on the mammoth NT's.

I like Jackson, he's serviceable and above average IMO.

last time I checked average doesnt cut it in this league and competition usually rolls in to challenge your spot

if there are better than average centers out there that means there is upgrade potential...and there was

ice grillin you

hes average compared to the rest of the league...how does that not cut it?

eagles dont have a position that cant be upgraded...point is center is about the least of their worries

QuoteThey're going to draft and kick butt there to complete the roster. They're keeping their eyes on things and angling for trades and such, and they made sign a free agent or two as a backup, but the draft is where the focus is right now. The Eagles went out and got their guy in free agency. They have 11 draft picks

From Spads...

So I guess that's it, boys and girls.

is it alright to root for your team to go 0-16? nothing will change unless something catastrophically bad happens.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Putting all your stock into the draft.

Sigh...
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

They are going to trade all 11 draft picks for Jason Smith, who will promptly bust.

TO's available  :-D

Wow, rofl. $12 million bonus last year. And they couldn't even trade him for anything? And after trading away their 1 and 3 for one of the Roy Williams'? Ha. Thanks dallas and TO for the good times. Farg dallas.

PFT had this jerruh blurb

QuoteIn late February, Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones issued this comment when asked about Owens' possible release: "That [Cowboys vice president and Jones' son] Stephen [Jones] and I were debating about Terrell, that's just misinformation. That's just not accurate. I don't know where that comes from. That's just total misinformation."

reese125

just goes to show you how impulsive he is because it does "sound" true that he said that

regardless I think he'll find out the hard way that the giving away of a 1st and 3rd for R. Williams will be a waste as well. There was a reason he didn't catch hardly any balls and it wasn't because of TO or Witten-he just couldn't get open-- and was criticized heavily for it by nfl analysts.
