If you've got Mike Myers in a live action movie, you know you're on to something.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Yeah... somethin'. Don't know what somethin', but defiantly somethin'.

Hugh Jackman was pretty good in the opening of the Oscars.

I thought he was really good, actually.

And some dude just thanked his pencil. Go Oscars.

Some Jap just said Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto.

WIN.

i gave up the faggy opening and after that fag won for the movie about the fag.

Romes.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rourke and Streep both deserve best actor and actress. Not even a debate otherwise IMO.

If Slumdog was the best picture of the year, then I'm glad I didn't see many movies.  I really don't get what everyone is so mad about.  It was alright, but nothing great.

I disagree obviously. But to each his own...I thought it was one of the better films I have seen. I saw quite a few of the big films this year with the exception of Milk, The Reader and The Wrestler....but nothing was as good as Slumdog. They deserve to win.

The BIGSTUD

The Wrestler was best picture, but not nominated. I also think In Bruges and Let the Right One In are deserving but LtROI wasn't nominated either obviously.

I also loved Doubt. I won't be mad about Slumdog. I rank it about 6th or 7th for best movies of 09, but still a very good movie.

Slumdog cleans up as expected, Sean Penn wins another Best Actor, and Kate Winslet wins her first...

The BIGSTUD

Penn was a puppet for the academy to push their gay rights political agenda.
