Did they mention that slaves and illegal aliens built the White House?

Obama should tear it down and set up shop in Chicago, to make a statement.

Obama to let states set car emission standards

QuoteWASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is poised to let California and other states control their own car tailpipe emissions.

An official familiar with Obama's decision said the president will reveal the policy Monday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision has not been publicly announced.

California and at least 13 other states want waivers from the federal Clean Air Act so that they can impose stiffer air pollution standards than the federal government.

The Bush administration denied the states that permission. Obama's move would empower the Environmental Protection Agency to reverse that conclusion.

Republicans should be happy with this.  Power to the states and all that.

Glad he's going to do this.  The Bush Fed rules were awful.

Obama is ticking off a broad laundry list of glaring issues that can be immediately remedied.  He's been doing his homework, obviously knows what he wants to do right away.

I am impressed with his many actions, don't support all of them, but I am impressed with his quick action and what looks like a well laid out plan of attack.

I'm getting annoyed and frustrated with people (news and people I know) who are complaining about Obama worrying about all these "little" items, and not concentrating on the economy. WTF, the economy is not a "little" item to be decided about quickly. I know He and his staff have been working on the issue probably before he got elected. I do not want him rushing to throw tons of money at this issue, like our last president and the existing congress did.

No, he is a joke, his show is not a "fair and balanced" show. He is an a-hole to his guests whenever they get the best of them.

On that we can agree. I am not particularly an O'Reilly fan. He does, however, not make any allusions of being a news show. When I see someone like Wolf Blitzer or Olberman or Katie Couric or Brian Williams or Walter Cronkite oe David Brinkey, or Harry Reasoner and they purport to be NEWSPEOPLE instead of commentators I take umbrage to tghe alleged intellegencia and Hollywood elite decrying one of the few conservative voices in the media.
