Suprisingly enough, there are people who think that way. They will never stop fighting. For thousands of years they've been fighting and they will be fighting long after we are gone, which is the exact reason why the United States should just stay the farg out of it. By claiming "they have fighting for 1000s of years and will continue to so" your just brushing aside the whole issue, the current conflicts roots and causes, and any possible solution. And that is exactly what ppl, IMO, do when they are faced with the ugly reality that Israel has the upper hand, should be the bigger man, and should seriously try to achieve this so called peace they say they want.

Do you even wonder why the other Muslim nations want to supply the Palestinians? Or why they hate Israel? Or why the majority of the Middle East hates the US? Its because of crap like this. Its because what 60 minutes showed in that video is what they see everyday happening and then they turn to look towards the powers that be and they see them do nothing but cheer Israel on. They see the US proudly boasting about their own democracy, freedom, and right to defend themselves but then only turn out to see the monarchs, dictators, and corrupt governments they have to endure simply because they are "friendly" towards the United States and its interests.

This is relatively a new conflict over land which has used religion as a breeding ground for recruitment and hate. Palestine, in modern times, has never existed.  It had a chance to in 1948, but refused the UN mandate and decided to attack Isreal instead...that didn't work out all that well.

If the Arab nations surrounding the area (Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt) were at all serious about a "Palestinian State" they would stop shipping arms to Hamas and donate some land to create a state.  Since none of these countries even want Isreal to exist, thats not about to happen.

As shown in the 60 Minutes link above, this is all coming to a head in the next 10 years or so as Palestinians will soon outnumber Jews.  The Jews will either have to compromise, and there is a significant number that will not at all costs, or impose Apartheid. 

Bottom line is there will be a lot more blood spilled before this is fixed.
