yep, it wasnt great by any measure, but it does a good job explaining the era. 

I watched some doc called "A Very British Gangster" it stunk, it was about some guy who runs Manchester, but the dude was a poptart

"Medal of Honor" was the PBS special, but the instant version cut off at 60 mins and you didnt get to see all of it. 

The wife and i watched "The Rocket" about Maurice Richard, it was pretty  good, but was a frog movie with english piped in.  Its funny how the Habs never got the calls back in the day, and how things have changed.

just finished band of brothers...im way late on it so i cant really say anything that no one else has said but it was farging awesome...has there ever been a better mini series?...maybe roots but its so dated looking

ive been watching it lately on DVD, probably for the 8th time at least.  Just an amazing series, and as i said somewhere in this or the tv thread.  Spielberg/Hanks are putting out the miniseries "The Pacific" which obviously is the war focued on Iwo Jima/GualdalCanal and so on.  It's done shooting, and is currently being cut last time i saw.  I cant wait
