perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Gran Torino = 8/10

I loved it. Eastwood, at 70whatever, is still a badass. His character there would fit in well with the crowd here at  :CF. A salty old guy who likes to drink and makes crude comments about everything from race to Hoyda.

Borderland. Admittedly, I turned it off very early, but I hate this shtein. This Eli Roth-inspired torture and snuff movie trend. It isn't scary. It's just bloody and gross. Pass.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Eagle Eye - stupid, boring, and completely unbelievable in every sense of every way

Jumper - stupid, great action, terrible action by Anakin shteinface, but not a terrible superhero movie

King of California - indie comedy that i streamed off of netflix starring Michael Douglas.  not bad, decent story.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Band of Brothers

After reading all  of your posts, I cant believe I never saw this. Ive been up endless hours of the night these past 2 days on the computer and am up to the last series

cant say enough about it...much props

Something called Ride With the Devil was just on. A period piece about outlaw gunmen in civil war times. Ang Lee directed. Starring Tobey Maguire and lots of other respected garbage. Oh, and Jewel.

Hot. Garbage.

Watched Letters From Iwo Jima the other night. 5/10. Different, seeing the Japanease view of the war. Very interesting and well acted. I didn't like having to read subtitles during the whole movie though. You can't focus on the picture when you have to keep reading everytime someone says something.

Those friggen' Japs were some crazy sumbitches. Fanatics. If they didn't die fighting, then they stood a good chance of being executed by their superiors for not giving their lives in battle.

That's about what I would give it. It reminded me of a more-well-thought-out-and-executed Dude Where's My Car. In that it switches from a buddy/stoner flick to a semi-violent shootemup and you're left wondering 'How the hell did we get from there to here?' (In DWMC aliens show up out of no where. WTF?)

Having said that stoner humor cracks me up every time so I laughed a lot.
