I know its impossible for Reggie to do but why could he not have had his patented drops on that last play?

It would have been 3rd down and 10 with about 5 seconds left. The mofo decides to catch that.

Its like the receivers all got together, farged some dogs, took some pictures, and accidentally mailed them to the mob. That's the only explanation I can think of for their collective dickery.

Can we all agree now that a balanced offense works and pass happy doesn't? Benching McNabb DID NOTHING. Its all about the run game its so simple it makes me sick

You've got to have as many runs as punts. Otherwise, you get all out of whack and accidentally put points on the board.

I don't even know what to say, guys.

Everything we've come to loathe about Reid was on display tonight.   Wouldn't run the ball, incredibly idiotic play-calling, horrible clock management... the whole bag of horrors.

Thank God for the Phillies.

QB Eagles

Spadaro: Eagles mixed in the run and pass....

12 passing plays to 9 running plays in the first half. The run was completely abandoned when the Eagles entered desperation mode and it become obvious that nothing offense-wise could be established (either run or pass) and only a big play could help them score. The more balanced attack in the first half yielded zero points.

Still, how many times do we need to see McNabb throw a very low 8-yard pass down the middle? If they wanted to be pass wacky they should have tried the deep ball more.

you can look at those stats and maybe say it was balanced, but WHEN they called the run was in question. They never went 3 runs and out...they never even tried to establish the run, regardless of that first half. It was the worst 1st half all season

Exactly they failed to put up any points.

They love to run on 2nd and 10s. Oh and a good running play can never be followed up by another running play. Tonight they also reverted back to those silly play actions when all they were doing were passing every down.

And when did they decided to run in the 2nd half? 1 time out left with about 3 min on the clock and 80 yds to go for the TD.  :boom

To the point!  That is exactly what I was saying all afternoon at the bar while watching this shtein.

Starting to make a lot more sense why Jackson fell to the second round.  That dropped TD was probably one of the best passes of DMac's career.

This team is shtein.  Now we get to sit around and wait and ponder how they'll farg up the two first round draft choices.

How many drops, eight?? Two real big ones by the pimp.

I honestly think Reid would pass the ball 35-40 times a game if he had Jim Brown in the backfield. Still, when they tried to run in the first half, Bwest looked terrible. He looked like he was playing at around 50%. When Hill ran him down on that 47 yard pass play you could really see it. He couldn't cut, and no explosive first couple steps like we are used to seeing.

McNabb looked horrible. It was like every pass was at the receivers ankles. The whole offense sucked balls. Mad me sick to watch. Awful. Just friggen' awful.

So much for winning out. Now I owe Havas.
