Thank god it's election day so all of the conspiracy theories and finger pointing can really get going. I was sick of of being tempted to talk about the issues facing the country.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Tell me what explanation there is for an Obama loss? There's only one. And it sucks because racism shouldn't even be a topic worth our time these days. The last thing I want is for racism to be proven as a deciding factor, opening up a whole new round of bullshtein conversation about something that shouldn't even be discussed. Race is a boring topic, I don't want to be forced to talk about it because Obama lost what should have been a gimme election.

You did a good job starting this shtein yesterday.

Cerevant

Well, if the Republicans feel like they got screwed this year maybe something will really be done about this joke of an election system.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Nah, if it gets bad, the right can just make movies about it, create cool bumper stickers, whine for fargin 8 years etc. The Dems will sweep this year and rightfully so, the repubs had a chance but bush, hastert and Co. farged it up. I just get tired of hearing that the right is going to cheat and steal away the election, when there are cheaters and bs. from both sides.

Rome

Whining about being tired of whiners?

Excellent.

I was raising a very valid point, I thought. What explanation is there for a legitimate Obama loss? I'm not talking about rigging voting stations and shooing voters away. I'm talking about more people in more states legitimately voting against Obama. In a country where 40% of the population is independent and at a time where our domestic, international and economic policies are crumbling around us, how on earth could the ruling party win a presidential election? It's a very legit question and has nothing to do with boogeymen.

To say the only way he loses is racism, is bringing out the boogeyman. God forbid more people disagree with his politics, or that maybe people trust McCain more then him to lead this country.

ice grillin you

there have been dozens of videos and articles from legitimate sources that have been posted in this thread that show race is indeed a large factor in why this race is as close as it is...anyone that would think its a conspiracy theory is blind deaf and dumb
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

ice grillin you

and i should add that ironically its less about him being black than it is him possibly being muslim in many idiots minds...that card has been played more than the black race card...the fact that hes black gives him a disadvantage in the people who inherently have racism/ignorance inside themselves

No shtein, race is a factor. Thinking that is the only factor to an Obama loss would be just a blind deaf and dumb.

Geowhizzer

I voted this morning.  Took me less than 25 minutes total.  I don't know what the big deal is for everyone.
