Well, on this board it barely is, but if FoxNews is your only defense against that comment, it doesn't really say much about the rest of the print, online, and TV media.

By the way, as has already been stated, CURRENT U.S. policies are borderline-Socialist, and Obama wants to punish wealth more drastically.  It's not worth defending against him being a Socialist or an Elitist, because he's both.  The question is if either of those are really bad things.  I would say yes; plenty of Americans would say no.

I'm still waiting for his justification. Now I'll admit, I only skimmed the article so there might be something I missed. This is because I already knew the whole article was bullcrap. There's nothing to offer. I'm sorry you're having to desperately cling to fabricated editorials such as this that helps you justify, to yourself, that there must be some other reason why the people are choosing to vote for the future instead of the past. I only wish you were able to keep it to yourself because it really does cloud the discussion about the tremendous ass whupping that McCain is receiving.

There's a difference between having something being stated and something being established. When Clinton was president and our economy was flourishing I don't remember much talk about his tax policies being socialist - Then again I wasn't watching Fixed News back then, either.

The media is what it is and has been for as long as I've been paying attention. It attempts to be biased but can easily get caught up in the hype of the day. This one is more about Obama's WOW factor then leaning left. All media only cares about selling commercials in this country because that is their bottom line. It pays the bills. Fair and balanced has nothing to do with it. Fox found a Niche like CNN or MSNBC. Media getting caught up in the magic of Obama's historic run is an easy sell. It is what it is.

The socialist discussion is also bogus. Adjusting existing socialist constructs means that your already socialist. There is no "that's more socialist". One candidate benefits those that make less then $250k a year and one candidate wants to benefit those that make more then some other figure. It's wealth distribution either way. Just depends on which way it's going. Up or down. Why not down for once?

WASHINGTON - A plot by two Neo-Nazi skinheads to assassinate Barack Obama and kill dozens of other African Americans has been foiled, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said Monday.

Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of West Helena, Ark., were charged Friday with making threats against a presidential candidate, illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun and conspiracy to rob a gun store.

In court records unsealed Monday, agents said they disrupted plans that included robbing a gun store and targeting an unnamed but predominantly African-American high school.

The two men were arrested in Crockett County, Tenn., and have already made a court appearance.

The plot unraveled when one of the men was arrested on other charges and in the course of interviews he revealed plans for the plot.


According to the court records, the pair discussed robbing a gun shop in order to gather weapons and ammunition to use in a "killing spree."

The defendants allegedly further discussed their killing spree to include targeting a predominately African-American school, and to continue their spree until it culminated with an attempt to assassinate Obama.

These nuts planned on killing 88 black people and decapitating 14 more. Man, they aren't worth the gunpowder it would take to blow their brains out.
