Taking someone's Maple Story login isn't very different from taking someone's online bank info. The characters and items in those types of games have monetary value in the real world.

For. The. Lose.

I can go sell my World of Warcraft account for two grand. At least I could a couple months ago, but that number has surely dropped with the next expansion coming out in a couple weeks. I have no idea what some crazy Asian dude's Maple Story account would be worth, but I'd estimate it somewhere in the lower gazillions (US$).

Really? They are worth money? How is that possible?

And what is Maple Story?

Diomedes

Of course they're worth money. It takes a lot of time to develop a character.  Plenty of people will pay for not having to sink the time into getting a level 60 dark elf mage.

I've never heard of Maple Story.  I'm out of touch.

Oh, dear God.  I'm definitely in Hell.  The past few posts confirm it once and for all.

Launched in Korea in 2003, and in the US in 2005.

@shorebird... I laughed too but reminding Dio how funny he can be only makes him more insufferable.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Diomedes

It seems a lot funny.  I'm sure his delivery was spot on.

Chose your own adventure movie dealie, with zombies and a profanity or two. Pretty good, despite the lack of muzzle flash.
