Source is unimportant if it's correct.

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

It's not like I told you he's picking satan or something, people.  Bayh's good people.  A fiscally conservative, moderately Democratic father of twins from the heartland.

Plus, he's not Hillary.

EDIT:  Apparently, MSNBC is saying it's not Bayh (or Kaine) and the texts are coming tomorrow.  OMG DRAMA

QuoteWASHINGTON (Reuters) - Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine have been told by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign they will not be his vice presidential choice, NBC News reported on Friday quoting sources.

Speculation about Obama's choice has centered on Bayh, Kaine and Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden. Other names in the mix include Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and Texas Rep. Chet Edwards.
Obama and his campaign have offered little information but the Illinois senator said earlier this week he had made up his mind about the choice

I'm 98% convinced it's Biden.  Bayh is too controversial considering he was key in the original Iraq war bill.  He should choose Clinton to unify the party, but he won't.

It's Biden.

Well, this pretty much seals it, I would think:

The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.

Sources also tell ABC News that two others said to be finalists for the position of Obama's running mate -- Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., and Virginia Gov Tim Kaine -- have been told they have not been selected for the vice presidential slot.

And lose out on every voter that can't stand Hillary and/or doesn't want another Clinton in the executive branch. Win!

The man. The myth. The legend.

Clinton's a good way to get the GOP unified in their hatred of something. They'd do anything to keep her away from the white house. It would have been a very bad pick by Obama. Biden's a good choice actually. Gives him some foreign policy chops he didn't really have.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
