*(not defending the WCO)

a variation of it that involved more running w/ Alstott and Pittman.  Plus it wasn't exactly their high-powered offense that got them to the Super Bowl...

Reid and other coaches have consistently said it takes a QB 4 years to master the WCO.

lololololol

took tom brady four months to win a superbowl

might be time to change that offense

Not everyone is Tom Brady.

knew that was coming....i pointed it out to show the two extremes....NO ONE is tom brady and NO OFFENSE takes four years to learn

its so beyond being ridiculous it ceases to be maddening...they are actually telling you that no QB can learn their offense in less than FOUR YEARS...think about that...four farging years...a presidental term to fully operate football plays
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

SD_Eagle5

I said 4 years to 'master' the system, not learn it and yes there is a huge difference.

in other words... "Yes"

well have to agree to disagree because i thinks its absurd and i am not willing to take a chance on a guy just because the coach tells me his offense takes four years to fully get down

show me you have some sort of talent and ability and that it takes a little bit of time for you to get up to nfl speed and im IN

show me nothing and ask me to ignore that because this special system will make a guy great in four years....farg no

Rome

Donovan was an MVP candidate after running the offense for two games as a rookie and a season as a starter.

It takes talent to master the offense just as it takes weapons to fully execute it (see T.O.).

I'm not sold on the guy yet either, but I'm willing to give him time (which he has) while Donovan is still here. I've said this from the day they drafted Kolb that McNabb would still be the starter till 2010.

Zanshin

I don't have strong feelings about Kolb one way or the other...and while anyone can project based on the limited sample, it's certainly too early to call it.  I'm going to go ahead and not really worry about it right now.

reese125

I'm so confused about the title of this thread.

Help.

Good call.  Unless Kolb can play receiver.

Munson

farg Kevin Kolb, get Anquan Boldin.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Show less respect, and you'll fit in better.  We're going to harass you regardless, though.  I mean... really?  The Cardinals?  Yikes, man.  Yikes.

Can't help it. I'm 70 miles from St. Louis and grew up with the Cards, believe me, I've heard it all. LOL

OK, I feel the Eagles can make a strong push this year. The Giants came from nowhere last year, and you guys played them well IMO. You just need to move the ball vertical instead of Westbrook running 20 yards to gain 10. LOL

I gots to work fellas, I get off around 4 in the morn, c-yas.

Wingspan

You're from St Louis and a Cardinal Fan?

How could you root for a team that up a left the city you grew up with watching them in?

I think I have lost the last bit of respect I ever had for St Louis "sports fans"
