Christ, what a drama queen.

Someone's gotta fill in for FF when he's not posting.

Kolb is very nice young man.

Why you can't see that and Reid can is why he is the coach of the decade

SunMo

i'm not saying he is the qb of the future...but you saw something in the hours of film study that you did after he was drafted and you don't like him, so you are judging him before he's played a real game.

my point is, if somebody else was making this exact point about somebody you liked, you would rip them because they hadn't played a game yet.

bottom line, we won't know until he actually plays a season.  actually, forget that, how about he gets to play a real portion of time with the first team line and skill players?  has he even done that yet?

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Ha!  That's rich.

The point is that if you think a player is good or simply unproven, you are extremely critical of anyone that attempts to say otherwise.  And yet, while Kolb has not had an opportunity to play in a real game situation, you spew vitriol and refuse to believe that he is simply unproven.  Essentially, you have absolutely no middle ground.  Ever.  On anything.

But, you're right that Kolb really does seem to suck, as I have also pointed out on numerous occasions.  It seems he has a long throwing motion that generates little power and very little pocket awareness or ability to escape at an NFL level.  Basically the perfect storm of "It's just not gonna work out with this guy in the NFL."  Good times.

SD_Eagle5

I saw a Kolb/Hoying comparison recently.

I'm willing to give the guy a chance. Reid and other coaches have consistently said it takes a QB 4 years to master the WCO.

yes, I know nothing about football.

die.

Sun...the point is, YOU'RE not saying he's the QB of the future, but the FO is..not in words, but in using that farging draft pick to draft him. They'll use a first round pick to trade for KOLB, but never for a WR who can actually help this team AND their current QB win a damn thing.

Its mind boggling.

I would like someone to prove to me, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Kevin Kolb won't win 4 superbowls in his career.

Now.

You cant. But show me a shred of something that shows he's worthy of being the QB of the Future. That's all I want.

Not everyone is Tom Brady. And I have no problem with changing offenses.
