I was on my way back from my uncle's shop (ties into a later story) when I tuned to wip to hear the Curtis injury, Eskin said it would be stupid for the Eagles to get Boldin because it would take him a while to learn the offense. I wanted to call in and ask how Stallworth was able to pick up the offense so fast.
Saw my cousin (older brother of my other cousin the highschool football star) while I was down there (Kensington) and he told me his ex-girlfriend who he still nails from time to time made the Eagles cheerleading squad, here she is:

It is the same story that unfolded with Fitzgerald. The only way for the Eagles to change the outcome is to make the Cardinals an offer so sweet - a No. 1 draft pick in 2009 and a player other than Sheppard? - they could not refuse.

Sounds about right to me. The Cards don't want Sheppard, and I doubt they are going to trade Boldin unless they get something that makes them more competitive THIS year - losing Boldin is a big hit to their team. If I were them, I'd ask for Trent Cole, since their pass rush sucks.

In other words, the Eagles ain't getting Boldin.

Maybe not this year. I will do some reading over here and catch up. The Cards defense should be ok this year, but you are right  compared to our last years team. we're healthy now, but who knows.
