the highlight of the game was some idiot kid slipping and falling when he went to kick a field goal in the halftime contest. then he needed help limping off the field. comedy gold.

McNabb finished 11-of-24 for 98 yards against a secondary that was missing three starters. He didn't get much help from his receivers, who dropped about six passes.

Ater watching the game last night, I'm still in shock that McNabb continues to do stupid shtein on the football field even though he's been in the league for ten years.  Whether he's running past the LOS to throw the ball, throwing a three yard completion with five yards to go, poor 2 minute drill/clock management, overthrowing/underthrowing, and the always inevitable pick at the end of an attempted comeback, this guy continues to do things that I see youngstaz do when I'm refereeing pee-wee football games.  It's sad as hell.  That's why I don't pay attention to pre-season scounting reports of who did what in practice, how healthy somebody is, or how many times a play was ran to perfection.  I know it's pre-season, but I make my judgements on what I see them do during an actual game scenario, regardless of if its pre-season, season, or post-season.  I honestly feel that McNabb, the receivers, and special teams are going to disappoint this year, but I hope they prove me wrong.  However, Desean is the truth.  Even with his mistakes they guy is better than any receiver the Eagles have had since TO.  If he ain't a starter in this offense by week 4 something's wrong...
