I recently rediscovered my love for Rolling Rock. Not sure when, but I started to have a taste for the pricier beers, and then when I wanted something cheap in the house for watching a ballgame or something, I always defaulted to Miller Lite or High Life. About a week ago, went to see the Dark Knight, and while waiting went to TGI Friday's (fail) across the way to have a beer, and decided on the Rolling Rock. The Wawa down the street has them for about 5.50 for a sixer.

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

has anyone ever made balloon wine?  what did it taste like?  i've made a lot of homemade shtein before (absinthe, beer, etc.) but have never tried this.  i want to.

When I was 14 my buddy bought a bunch of yeast and grape juice, mixed it together in a plastic bottle and put a balloon over the top. He left it in the trunk of his car...I forget the exact time that elapsed but once it inflated we drank it. Tasted like grape juice and we got bent.

I've tasted hooch before. The stuff the inmates make. It was pretty good.

But if you drink it too soon, it will farg your innards up. One guy drank it before the fermenting was done and had to have his stomach pumped.

phattymatty

yeah i read that it should take about 4-6 weeks, the balloon starts inflating once the alcohol starts being made, and then once the balloon deflates again its ready to drink.  i'm gonna do it, i'll bring the results to a tailgate sometime this year.

Don't put any twigs in this batch.
