Yeah, CNN is just a Canadian shill. ::)
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I thought you would have guessed by now - the only news I watch is Countdown, and I get that via podcast.

With maybe the exception of HGTV, Canadian TV Sucks.

I thought he was in the ad at the end there, but it was actually Chuck Heston.

for the record i think mccain should attack obama on his experience...its a legitimate issue...hell even barrys biggest supporters (the honest ones anyway) such as myself question that...im just dumbfounded as to why he isnt doing that and instead is doing brittney spears chuck heston commericals that resemble sat nite live skits more than serious political ads

Ironically, one of my favorite things about Obama is his lack of "experience" in Washington.

i disagree but thats neither here nor there....the point is its completely legitimate to attack someone on experience....but its retarded to do it in the way mccain is vs barry

People are pretty stupid.  Attempting to attack Obama with the celebrity comparisons and the "chosen one" ad will just make most people more interested in voting for B.O.

Ha!  B.O.!  Maybe McCain should use that gem in his next ad.  John "Old Spice" McCain vs. Barack "B.O." Obama!

The Republican party making asses out of themselves by ripping Obama for his tire gauge comments....

How are they stupid comments?  If you look at the numbers in the time article (offshore drilling would increase supply 1%, inflated tires/maintenance would reduce demand 7%), Obama is right by a good margin.  Are you saying the article is wrong?
