it has that feeling when you drive through.  Nice people, but definitely like going back in time.  Met this guy Red-Eye(he was missing an Eye) last year who was a butcher for the supermarket.  The guy talked our ear off, but gave us tons of steak/pork to eat on teh beach, and cook back home.

At first he started the conversation that he's in the Union, i was thinking metalworkers/auto, but then he throws out Butchers, never knew they had one.

it's designed to increase traffic and thus ad revenue, obviously

who gives a farg about some woman getting upset, or for that matter about the state realizing that maybe a reasonable person could not want NGR on her license plate

looks like the state is willing to issue a new one if someone is offended, so it's a non story
