Rooting for the skins would have worked out a lot better for you over the last 15 years.  They suck even more.

Diomedes

for who, me?  yeah, I suppose....but I don't like them, or their town (DC sucks).  so the fact they lose more just isn't enough

I haven't weighed in on this yet, but I don't think it makes the Skins THAT much better.  I mean they're taking an old DE with questionable football desire at this point and plugging him in on a side he's not that comfortable with; and with the injuries, they'll probably play him more snaps than they should.  Even so, I think Taylor can have success, but I don't know that it will be a difference maker for the Skins-- I mean, they took two WRs in the first two rounds, and I don't think either of them will contribute much this year.

They have a first time head-coach who will install a vastly different offense than they ran last year, with a QB who really isn't all that suited to run it.  If they really struggle on offense, I'm not sure it matters what happens with Taylor.  And the Skins lose yet another high pick.

I think it was good move for the Fins who clearly weren't going to do anything this year, but I don't think it's a huge win for the Skins.  I feel pretty indifferent about it.  I'd feel worse about it if he went to the Cowboys.

I agree with Z.  If there's one team in the division that I'd pick for Taylor to go to... it'd be the Skins, without question.

I think Taylor does have something left... but in all honesty, I don't think he'll matter that much one way or the other for them.  He doesn't vault them to Super Bowl contender... I don't even think it stops them from being the most likely team to finish last in the NFCE.  I's actually be somewhat surprised if he hit double-digit sacks again.

Then, think of how much fun it could be at next year's draft if they're watching Miami use their 2nd rounder on a player who just retired a couple months before.

I will hereby bet any one of you FOURTEEN MILLION DOLLARS that my overpaid athlete on a team that supposedly represents their metroploitan region has more sacks than your overpaid athlete on a team that supposedly represents their metropolitan region.

it's a shame DE's aren't allowed to wear # 21, that would be awesome
Agreed.  This way IGY wont have to buy a new jersey.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

Anyone who in any way bets against the Eagles is a douchebag.
Bet with your head, not your heart. The Eagles will never win 19 gmaes in a season, why lose money pretending that they will?
And since they are the team that you know the best, why not use that to make some money, while still hoping for them to win?

no easier way to make money than to make bets with homers

and no one is saying taylor is worth five wins or anything but he improves a position on the team that was previously pathetic...and anytime you can do that youve done a good thing...sure you can argue if what they gave up was to much but to try and shtein all over taylor reeks of haterism

if campbell progresses and has a good year which is a HUGE if the skins are definitely a better team than the eagles...take a look at their roster its pretty impressive...its just that the most important position is their weakest...but even with that they made the playoffs last year
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

New coach and suspect defensive talent = no hope for the taterskins.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

It's third and 3. If someone were to bet you ten bucks that Reid calls a run and it picks up a first down, is anyone going to pass that up?

I'd bet on a 1yrd pass to the full back.
