Yessir. Bought it about 6 weeks before gas prices started spiralling out of control last summer. It saves me between $40 and $50 a week. Winner.

I'm seriously looking into making a hybrid into my next car. I drive way to farging much and I don't give a shtein if they're small and look like escape pods. farg these gas prices.

What are the drawbacks that they have? I heard that they have an expensive battery you have to replace every 5 years.

The battery is supposed to last 8 years. And it is expensive to the point where it probably makes more sense just to trade the farger in for whatever you can get. Other than that, I haven't encountered any drawbacks.

other than the squirts of splooge on your face as you drive?

The battery cells in the hybrids go for about $400-500 each to replace.  So if a single cell goes bad, no big deal.  But if the entire battery goes, you're looking at roughly $4000-5000 to replace it.

I'm getting money ejaculated at me left and right. Enjoy your trucks and crippling fuel consumption. I'm happy to look a little non-hetero behind the wheel if it means $200 extra per month to drink with.

So...what's the difference between cars that run on natural gas? Is that the same shtein as the hybrids? What about the hydrogen ones? Also, how is natural gas cleaner? Doesn't it still burn?

What the farg?

Besides fuel mileage, what else should we be looking for? Battery life?

As you can all tell, I haven't bothered reading up on any of this and will rely on all of your posts as FACT!

holy jesus!

I compared my honda accord to the prius....holy farging shtein...I would only be spending a third in gas at the current gas prices.

I think I'm going to aim towards a prius. Gas is too farging crazy.
