In St. Louis metro, the gas stations seem to be doing everything they can to keep gas under $4 a gallon.  It will jump to 3.989, fall down to $3.929, and jump back to $3.989.  Apparently they think that all we can handle is $4.  Over in Illinois, just across the river from St. Louis, it's around $4.039 to $4.079 a gallon, but they have higher taxes.

So, my question is, based on locale, how much is it where you live?

PS.  Isn't it time we get rid of the 9/10th of a cent at the end of gas?  Is this really still fooling anyone?

Rome

I paid $17/gallon yesterday.

$4.10-$4.30 depending on the station.  Funny thing is we are seeing a lot of gas stations putting up offers of lower gas, like $4.05 but only if you use Cash.

Rome should get a bicycle, with an extra wide basket for carrying his measuring tape.

4and26

1 US gallon    = 3.785 liters

Here, in Regina, SK, Canada we now pay close to $1.40 a liter

That would put us at over $5 a gallon (we are heavily taxed on gas)

Rome

Heh-heh... he said Regina.

damn, i had no idea you were in Saskatoon there 4thand26.

Does your ride require a minimum octane of 1000?

He only uses that to fight crime.

In downtown Peterborough we're paying $1.36/L.

That's $5.14 / gallon.  (4and26 is paying $5.30/g)

I really wish they would have totaled my SUV.

I got over 50 miles per gallon this weekend and was able to fill up my tank for less than $40 both times I stopped. Suckers.
