Please understand that you simply CANNOT afford to farg this up.  Please pay this man accordingly.  You have no idea of the shteinstorm that would come if this Westbrook situation turns sour.  PLEASE do not farg this up.  Pay Brian Westbrook.

When did Westbrook sign his last deal?  Frankly, he shouldn't have even signed that one.  Now, the Eagles are going to have to overpay him in the long-term in order to pay him fairly in the short-term.  Remember the massive contract signed by Shaun Alexander after his record-breaking season?  How many more years as an elite player does Brian Westbrook honestly have.

This situation is going to turn out very badly, but if anyone in the history of the Eagles has earned a bump in salary, it's Westbrook.  So, pay him.
