How did losing weight work out for Kearse last year?
You know that Kearse is going to have 15 sacks for the Titans this year, right?

About as well as it did for Terry Schiavo

Part of me doesn't want him because jesus christ I hate the conflict of interest I suffer when a player I can't stand is on the Eagles and I have to try not to cheer for him when he does well.

The other part of me wants him on the team because he's better than any offensive player the Eagles have had since TO, besides Westbrook and Klecko, of course.

Apparently Bill Sampy was waived/injured.

Ohmygod, what will they do now?!?

General_Failure

Well farg, now they have to get that guy from the Bengals.

The man. The myth. The legend.

QuoteRotoworld: Eagles WR Jason Avant played the entire 2007 season with a sports hernia before undergoing surgery in January.
Impact: Avant flashed in training camp last season to take the third wide receiver position away from Hank Baskett, but it looks like the sports hernia was one reason his breakout season never materialized. Avant is a great blocker and route runner, but he's not likely to emerge as a significant fantasy factor.

What this team really needed was another excuse to not improve the WR's.

It's not that I don't like him, he's not a taterskin or anything. I just don't think he'll be able to shut the farg up and play. Cincy apparently axed him to tone down his act, and he was offended. What if Dmac tells him to shut up, or Reid tells him not to be vocal towards the press? And what if there, heaven forbid, a dispute about money? We all hate him for shore then when it all goes in the tank.

Of course there could be that one year when it all comes together.........

Donovan ain't telling anyone to do anything.  You've got him confused with some kind of leader or something.

Actually, I have no conflict.  I never root for anyone doing well, just the team.  That way, I could give a shtein if they're a complete icehole, as long as they don't farg up the team (like TO).
Anyone but Reid.

I just have a bad vision of Johnson turning out like TO - painful near-success that falls just short, followed by a complete implosion and ending up as TO's counterpart for a Super Bowl winner in God's toiletbowl.
