Honestly, it was all about McNabb.  He was ineffective with the bum knee, and as he got closer to 100%, he showed that (well, shtein, who'd have thunk it?) he's a pretty damn good quarterback.

Something that seemed to be lost on a lot of people around here last season.

hes not gonna be right all year...hes not gonna be as bad as today but its gonna take 5-8 games to get him comfortable...as i said last night carson palmer still isnt 100% after his injury

and the people chalking this off to the typical reid opening game hiccup are going to be sorely mistaken...im not ready to go 4-12 but the playoffs are out of the question...reids horrible coaching is one thing but now pair that up with the few years of player aquisition whiffs and you have an older injury prone team that doesnt contain a whole lot of top end talent...and on top of that the one advantage they always had in the division and conference was mcnabb...and now that is gone as well due to the injury

i know what they are doing this year
i know because of mcnabbs injury they have already put up the white flag on 07
i know (or strongly believe) that they are gonna spend a bunch of FA $$ in 08
i know they cant admit that this is what they are doing

theres no question the mcnabb injury effected their season big time...maybe you can even argue it prevented them from making the playoffs...

this knee injury is a two year recovery time to get back to 100%...yet for some unexplainable reason andy has mcnabb in the shotgun every other play

Oh, and WTF was McNabb and Westbrook being on the field during meaningless games?  I wouldn't even let them stand on the sidelines.

i coudlnt disagree more on not wanting mcnabb to play...his injury required him to get as much play as possible and get back to 100% asap

anyone who didnt think the season was over before it began because of mcnabbs injury was deluding themselves

It didn't take a crystal ball to know that McNabb was going to have a rough time of it early in the year.  I don't recall anyone suggesting otherwise, actually.  I do remember people being pissed that Garcia was cut loose, though.

i can throw 'i told you so's' around with the best of them...but if you think knowing that mcnabb wouldnt be healthy this year is one of them then youre sorely mistaken...plus youre pretending that i care what you think about me
