Forrest Gump is on AMC right now.  Watching the pithy little factoids is more interesting than the actual movie.  The part where Jenny's in the hotel room all strung out on coke and contemplating suicide always gives me a stinger for some reason.

yeah its gonna be terrible...pacino became a parody of himself a long time ago and deniro is over....this particular movie is trying way to hard


couple reviews...two winners

assasination of jesse james - excellent and faithful retelling of the final years of jesse james life...casey affleck was outstanding and lived up to his hype in this picture

away from her - depressing and sad movie about the effects of alzheimers on the family of the people who get it....everyone talked about julie christie in this movie and she was good but i think the husband (gorden pinset) was even better...

BUT IT has DeNiro and Pacino and wait, wait, 50 CENT! OMG BEST MOVIE EVRA!!

Saw Amercian Ganster - very long, slow moments. plentiful amounts of breast and naked african american women. thumbs up. i enjoyed it, i liked denzels bad but likable character. hip hop artists getting into movies is really getting out of hand. none of them can act, save for will smith. it really cheapens a movie to me, unless you worship them like GAWDS. RZA's voice is classic though, it had me laughing a few times. id say 3.5/5

Heat was enormously overrated so even if that movie sucks the sheep will claim its the 'greatest movie evar!' because Pacino and Deniro are in it together.

HEAT was the shtein when it came out. I loved that movie. Watching it now though, doesn't age well. I heard they are re-making it with DeNiro and Pacino, at least it looked like that from their IMDB profiles

Heat was stupid.  DeNiro going back into the hotel was the most retarded plot turns I've ever seen.  Dook was a professional.  There's no way he risks anything to cap that guy.  He'd wait until the heat was off (yeah, I know) and then kill him when everyone else was looking the other way.

Then again, his alternative wasn't much better.  He either risked getting killed or going back to Amy Brennaman.  Talk about a no-win situation.
