Win by 40.

Miller 12 points 10 assists. Nice game. Get traded.

Thaddeus Young 20 points, 8 rebounds, 8-11 shooting in 24 minutes.

Lou Will 13 points, 4 assists, 3 steals in 20 minutes. Nice 4-6 shooting, he really needs to get a higher FG%, it's around 41% for the year.

No Sixers trades in works, Stefanski says

Philadelphia Daily News
If there's a trade for the 76ers to make before today's NBA in-season deadline, Eddie Stefanski insisted before the start of last night's game against the New York Knicks that he wasn't aware of it.

Not that he hasn't been in contact with virtually every other team in the league, exploring options, doing his due diligence.

"There's no deal on the table now that anyone should get excited about and think we're going to make," said Stefanski, the president/general manager.

I don't really understand why everyone's so excited about selling off decent players no matter what.

If they get a great deal, fine.  But how bad would it truly help them long-term to sell off Miller or others just to get an expiring contract or a heavily-protected pick?

ice grillin you

i think most people like the way the team is headed and would be more than happy to stick with it and let guys develop

i think only reese (whos an idiot) and sd with iguodala wanna send people packing

They could very well get a good deal for Miller next year, thats fine...but when a team is trying to "rebuild" and get back to the championship (not playoffs), thats exactly how you do it long-term...especially when you have some guys on the team that have value(which luckily the Sixers have).

See, its the ones (IGY) that dont know no shtein about basketball who like to make comments like this..which is expected

I love it. You go to your first Sixers game drunk one night, see them win, sprint out to the parking lot chest bumping and giving noogies to your buddies in excitement, and scream to the world that you love this team. Get back to your Bob Evans thread

ice grillin you

If they can get good value for him, I don't want them to just trade him for shtein.

ice grillin you

but you also were against offering as much as they did and if hes gonna get 50+ mil offer youd just assume let him walk right

I wouldn't let him walk for nothing, the money he's going to get is absurd for a decent swingman but he's still an asset. I said this before, I'd like to see some creativity from Stefanski. I wouldn't just trade him for an expiring contract and late round picks, I want value in return. And just to set the record straight, I like him as a player, its just that I like Thad much more.

phattymatty

true, i'd hate to have two good players at the same time.
