Knight Rider TV movie did well on Sunday night

i watched it...it wasn't that great. the acting was terrible and they used a ton of CGI that was really bad...but the car was badass. one of the new features of the new KITT was self healing armor which was really cool. Val Kilmer was the voice of KITT and was nothing special. the show has potential if they can fix some of the issues.

it was a backdoor pilot...which is to say, it was made to be a stand alone movie but if it got good enough ratings they could make it into a series which it sounds like they will do

House is moving to Mondays at 9 when it comes back in April. Perhaps that's a subtle hint that 24 is finding a new day next winter.

Did anyone happen to catch the Knight Rider premier on Sunday? I had some interest in watching to see what it's like but ultimately forgot it was on and missed it. Anyone know if it's worth a damn?

it was a stand alone movie that they hoped got big enough ratings they could turn into a series...which pretty much happened

Got it. I saw a trailer that wasn't really a trailer about it on youtube. The car looks bad ass and I think they said it's more like a sequel rather than a remake of the original and the new Micheal Knight is actually the son of Micheal Knight. And apparently the car calls him Mike too.

The dude starring it it looked kind of douchey too. Did they at least keep it where their "headquarters" is still a never-stopping 18 wheeler or is that gone too?
