An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

KU up to #2!

Looking at the top 25 today and there's a lot of new faces there so far this year.

Wash St
Vanderbilt
Butler
Dayton
Tex A&M
Marquette
Drake
Xavier
Baylor

You'll typically see most of these teams in the tournament and maybe a couple of them crack the top 25 each year but this is a lot of schools to be listed all at once that aren't normally associated as top tier basketball schools.

it's great that baylor is having a solid season so far, after all the shtein that school went through a few years ago.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Plus, they all have to go to Baylor.

Terps have #4 Duke next. Gotta' luv playing in the ACC.

wow...Temple just had a tough loss.  they were up 2 and gave up a 3 to St. Joe's with 3 seconds to go.  then they run the ball down the court and the layup gets blocked on something that looks a lot like a goaltend.

of course, i had to see this on ESPN news live look-in, why would Temple/St. Joe's be on any of the philly networks, nah, dumb idea.  comcast doesn't carry stupid ESPNU
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Really tough loss for the Owls. I was on press row for the game, was an interesting experience. I'm not sure Tyndale got the shot off, but it wasn't really goaltending. Could have gone either way though. I just had losing to St. Joe's, but Temple is getting better and are pretty close to being "back."
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

John Chaney was at the Temple/GW game on Sunday. He has a creepy moustache. Also former center Wayne Marshall was sitting behind the bench and he was literally the size of Jupiter.

Bobby Knight resigns effective immediately, his son Pat is taking over for him.

Going to be a hell of a game tonight, even if you aren't a fan of either team.

There were 3500 screaming kids at the Temple/Charlotte game today. And they all knew the dance moves to Soulja Boy.
