maybe stop suckling off the auto and oil industry lobbies and re-invest in trains
maybe increase incentives to car pool, both to indivuduals and to companies
maybe cut military funding and put that money into increased maintenance of existing roads and bridges, which are currently being maintained at the bare minimum

Edwards still collecting delegates with a purpose...

This is where the Democrats' primary system of awarding partial delegates is interesting.  Edwards could agree to throw his delegates toward either other candidate, possibly in return for a VP nomination.  The article's writer seems to think that Obama is the more likely beneficiary, but in the last debate, Edwards was much more careful not to take sides with either front-runner.

Either way, this is interesting now that's it's a 3-person race.
