Do ya think? The LC was rockin. Get on the bandwagon now, this team is good.
:-D
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

MDS

Nothing quite like homerism after an exciting win over Ohio.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Cerevant

Yeah, who would want to root a school located in the middle of the ghetto that is in a second rate conference anyway?

Considering Temple has been within a game of the Final Four 4 times under Chaney and have the means to do it again, I'd say anyone who goes to the school and any basketball fan in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

i've only been to one temple game live.  it was at penn state.  temple was ranked in the top ten.  penn state won.

MDS

You bringing up Penn State basketball is slightly less of a joke than me bringing up Temple football.

actually it's not even close.

psu = 10-7
temple 8-8

there's nothing about temple that is better.

So, what's so magical about college basketball that almost 4th place is the mark of a great team?

SunMo

why are you trying to rip Temple basketball?  farg off
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Cerevant

After putting up with all of MDS's shtein about PSU football all season, I thought I'd wander over and piss on his parade.

i actually root for temple basketball, but it's still hot garbage compared to psu.

MDS

Piss on my parade when Temple actually has a good team, like in 2000 when we lost to Seton Hall in the 2nd Round. I know Temple blows these days, but sooner or later it's going to change. That's the difference between our basketball program and Penn State football. We'll actually be good again.

Um, how many national titles?  Do they give out trophies for "almost 4th place"?

wow this must be a slow day.  psu football vs temple basketball may be the most retarded argument ever.

MDS

We just beat St. Louis by 1 in overtime. Holla.
