i think if he wanted to be traded he would say as much.

when players want to be traded and make enough of a fuss they usually get their wish.

McNabb is all about good public relations.  He doesn't want to be the guy who comes out and wrecks the team because of appearing selfish.  Whether or not he wants out is irrelevant.   Unless some dumb ass team comes along and offers the moon and stars for him he'll be here in 2008 and maybe even 2009.  And I'd be fine with that too so long as they get some game-breakers in there for him.

All that said, I would feel bad for the guy if they never got him the sort of talent that he deserves to play with at the skill positions.  I'd feel worse for myself as a fan but I'd still feel bad for Donovan.  He's done more with less than any other quarterback in the league except for Brady over the past 10 years and that's a shame.
